On Friday July 16 2021, president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo together with the vice president and the National Chief Imam Sheikh Usman Sharubutu commissioned the National Mosque of Ghana complex. The complex contains the second largest mosque in west Africa, an office for the national chief Imam, a senior high school, a clinic fitted with laboratories and a pharmacy, a library and a morgue.














The project is estimated to cost 10million dollars. The complex was built by the Turkish Hudai Foundation.
